I've downloaded my attendee list which has accents in some of the names and it's displaying showing weird characters instead of the accents. How can I view it correctly?

This is quite a common issue if you're opening up a file with accents into Excel. There is a quick and easy fix.

If you open the spreadsheet up in Google Spreadsheets (it's free to use), the accents will display correctly. You can either manipulate the spreadsheet in there or export it to various file formats including Excel and CSV.

The exported file can then be opened up in Excel and it will display the accents correctly.
